Youth Recording Ensemble
The Floyd Music Loft Recording Ensemble has produced a new song! This ensemble comprised of six Floyd area youths wrote, arranged, produced, and recorded a new song called “Waiting on a Train.”
About the Class
The Floyd Music Loft Recording Ensemble is a group class produced by the Handmade Music School to provide local students an opportunity to write, perform, and record music in a band setting with professional instruments and recording equipment at the Music Loft located at 117 S. Locust Street in downtown Floyd, Virginia.
Taught by Nick Falk, students will learn to operate in a professional recording studio and follow the process of producing music from start to finish.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Nicholas Falk is a drummer, songwriter, producer, educator and freelance musician living in Galax, VA. In the recent years he has performed with Hiss Golden Messenger, Dori Freeman, Molly Tuttle, The Wood Brothers, Charlie Hunter, Ric Robertson.
