The Floyd Country Store & Handmade Music School are offering dance lessons for folks wanting to learn country 2-step. The class will focus on how to connect with a partner and learning to hear the music. We will introduce ways to respond easily and consistently to the music’s rhythms, simple turns, and a few embellishments that will enhance the dance experience!

Additionally, we will share useful advice to increase your total dance success and confidence, and…we will have FUN!

The three week class will meet for 45 minute sessions from 6-6:45 before the Thursday night Honky-Tonk, May 18, May 25 and June 1, 2023 at the Floyd Country Store. Music used in the class will feature tunes played during the Honky Tonk Thursday dance following the class.

Cost is $45 per student for the three week series. This an investment towards more fun, great exercise, and new friends! Both singles and couples are encouraged to join.

The instructors, Stephanie and Bruce, are both very experienced country dancers and both have previous experience teaching dance. We look forward to seeing you there!
