The Handmade Music School presents Old Time Guitar in “C” Position with Rachel Eddy on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 3:00 EST. The workshop will be presented via Crowdcast as part of our Handmade at Home online series. Cost is $1 to $100 (suggested donation of $15).
In this workshop, we will be looking at several aspects of playing in the C shape. We’ll start by going through the bass runs, and which fingers to use for the best economy of motion. I would like to offer some ideas on how to approach the F chord, including good mechanics that create less strain on your hand and offer easier access to whatever comes next! We will use a familiar tune/song to work through all the ideas and hopefully give you new tools to improve your guitar playing.
