Flatfoot Dancing with Gina Dilg
May 28, 2022 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
The Handmade Music School presents a flatfoot dance workshop with Gina Dilg on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 5:00-6:00pm, prior to the Old Time Dance with Nobody’s Business at the Floyd Country Store. Cost is $15.
Following a brief history of Appalachian percussive dance traditions and a demonstration, we’ll dive into the basics of flatfooting and clogging steps to get you out on the dance floor and try some fun variations on those steps.
Come ready to dance in either leather bottoms or smooth-soled shoes and stay for the Old-Time Dance to practice your new moves!
