The Handmade Music School presents Bluegrass Mandolin: Tasteful Leads, Variation, and Improvisation with Jesse Smathers on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 3:00 EST. The workshop will be presented via Crowdcast as part of our Handmade at Home online series. Cost is $1 to $100 (suggested donation of $15).

Jesse Smathers is an accomplished mandolinist, guitarist, and singer from Eden, North Carolina. Recipient of the 2017 IBMA Momentum Award for Vocalist of the year, Jesse currently performs on mandolin and sings lead and tenor vocals with the Lonesome River Band. He now resides in Floyd, Virginia.
